Geopolymer (or mineral polymer), a new category of inorganic nonmetal materials developed in recent years, Which is synthesized from predominantly metakaolinite or other alumino-silicates containing source materials by simple manufacture process, actived by alkaline solution and cures below 150 or even at room temperature, bears the capability like ceramic,whose molecular structure is tetrahedron made up of [SiO4] and [AlO4] linked alternately by sharing all oxygens,showing three-dimension network structure.In this dissertation, industry wastes are replaced metakaolinite entirely by synthesize geopolymer. Voluminous research aims at the feasibility of utilizing largeness wastes-granite rock powder from the process of producing granite rock material to synthesize geopolymers and study their properties, structure and mechanism of geopolymerization.The experiment uses granite rock powder, silicon ash, calcium oxide, construction waste granule in regeneration as main materical, natrium soluble glass and sodium hydroxide as alkali-activator. Discuss geopolymer material's capability through the main influence factors as: granularity of powder material,the quantity of calcium oxide and other sophisticate material, the kind and the consistency of alkali-activator,the ratio of the powder material and liquid,the kind and the granularity of the aggregate,preparation technics,the solidifying time and so on.The optimum mix proportions of granite rock powder geopolymer are determined by analyzing the influence of different single factors and strength experiment .When the calcium oxide is added by 8 percent into the gross of power material, silicon ash occupies 15 percent, decrease aqua occupy 0.6 percent, the ratio of the powder material and liquid is 0.38, the ratio of mucus and aggregate is 1:1.2, the 7-day compressive strength of the geopolymer can reach 21.1 MPa, and tensile strength of the geopolymer can reach 1.23MPa; the 28-day compressive strength can reach 33.6MPa, tensile strength of the geopolymer can reach 2.72 MPa.The products possess strong acid resistance, losing rate just at 2.37 percent after dip in acid liquor, but the rate of containing and absorbing water is high because of the excessive air hole in the geopolymer material.The XRD, IR and SEM tests were used to study the composition, structure, microcosmic appearance and polymerization rigidification of granite rock powder geopolymer. The result shows that crystal form and non-crystal form exist together with little holes, improves that C-S-H gelatin amorphous inorganic polymer, and represents that the different length of chain floc exists in the microstructure of the rupture. Essentially they are floc gelation that polymerization effect brings. They connect one another in different degree, forming the network structure.Basing on the basic principle of the material's concretion, analyzing the whole course, we can see: both of silicate and aluminate oligomers formed by Si-Al materials from granite rock powder and other raw materials in the alkaline solution are produced aluminosilicate gel. Though hydroxy polymerization, they become colloid state of the al-silicate, then transform into three-dimension network structure matrix with Si-O-Al bonds, felting unreact mineral granule and architectural waste's granule, thereby leadingto excellent mechanical properties for the gepolymer products.
