Powder injection molding was modified from plastic injection molding process, It's a net-shape process combined with the powder metallurgy and the technique of metals to die-casting, include to mixing, injection molding, debinding and sintering. Since 80's in 20 centuries, the powder injection molding process have been a hot in metallurgy academics and related academics realm.Along with the development in science and technology ages, the electronics industry has high electrical conductivity towards metals request namely and still have to bear heat corrosion strength in the meantime. The Cu/WC, Cu/W materials becoming a new product in the high pressure switch materials, electric resistance electrode materials, electronics pack and deposite heat materials, substitute silver copper alloy and so on and acquire extensively applied, become a kind of important function material. Make use of the metal powder injection to take shape small size and the complicated shape ware of the technique manufacturing and compare other traditionally methods to advantage of the technique and cost.This paper carried on a research to the injection molding process at the basis of interiorly and abroad,and research the technique of Cu/W material formed by injection molding. Experimented contrast to analyze paraffin wax-polypropylene-peanut oil-stearic acid(binder A), paraffin wax-polyethylene-stearic acid(binder B) and paraffin wax-polyethylene-polyprop-stearic acid(binder C) three kinds of binder system, got to be applicable binder system to pure cooper and Cu/W metal injection molding. Thead TGA analysis, made sure the temperature parameter of mixing and thermal debinding, and adopt solvent debinding method combine with thermal debinding which will effectively takes off binder. According to the different ratios, sintering carried under the different temperature, and the tallest temperature is 1250℃. Having been studied the injection molding process whith powder quality which percentage among 82%-95%, and mainly research the 92%, 93%, 94% three kinds of powder quality ratios, besides, mainly studied Cu/W30, Cu/W50 and Cu/W60 three kinds of metal alloy compositions. Since there were so many parameters to influence more and greatly, I had taken the orthogonal test analysis, and got the best experiment parameter. The sinter result of pure copper injection molding was not constringency combine fine turn, the sinter result of Cu/W injection molding constringency was even and fine.Result enunciation, the parameters designed to pure copper and Cu/W metals injection molding were finely met to the request of experiment. The shortage of mixing process and need to appropriate improvement and made Cu/W powder being mixed more even. The sintering temperature still needs to be raise, after making to try, the sintering density woulde close to the theories density.
