Being kinds of the organic Fluorine compounds, the fluorocarbon polymers were provided with a very high thermal stability, chemistry disposition and the oxidation stability. Tetrafluoro ethylene is the basic monomer of fluorocarbon polymers with extensive use, its manufacturing technology has been on behalf of the fluorine chemical industry's technical level, after 40 years of development, China's technological level of fluorine chemical industry has a large degree of improvement, and already has a considerable scale. However, fluorocarbon polymers variety, quality, compared with the foreign advanced enterprises are still some gaps, how to improve the basic raw material fluorine chemical - tetrafluoro ethylene monomer production techniques to reduce energy consumption and waste pollution , is fluorine chemical development of new technologies one of the priorities.The method of industrialization of tetrafluoro ethylene monomer production is taking HCFC-22 as raw materials for cracking reaction, after purification, separation and distillation processes, access to the ultimate high-grade products. Normally HCFC-22 pyrolysis made use of the steam diluted technology, which have highly conversion rate, only a few of high-boiling, easy separation and purification. Now the advanced foreign technology will enable the consumption of HCFC-22 to be less than 1.8t/t-TFE, which was almost reached theoretical value, compared with that, the domestic TFE technology still lags behind, it should be taken the measure that optimize the process, improve technology and reduce consumption.In the new tetrafluoro ethylene plant design, in accordance with TFE cracking reaction principle and the development trend of technology, in order to improve product quality, increase the safe operation of the plant, reduce the raw material and the energy consumption, the following measures were taken: improve the over-heated steam boiler efficiency, modify the reactor structure and cracked gas purification process, comprehensively optimize monomer separation and distillation process, make the recovery process perfectly, in order to improve the technology level of tetrafluoro ethylene device.In the new chemical processes study and the plant-enlarge engineering design, it should be taken that make full use of the advanced computer software, such as Aspen Plus etc., by the process simulation, we could entirely obtain a set of reliable materials and energy balance data, and then carry out the comprehensive design optimization, to avoid the waste of manpower and materials, and effort to enhance the efficiency of working and the reliability of engineering design.
