The EG was pretreated by seven kinds of surfactant, such as sodium oleate, Tween-85, Span, TX-10 etc, and five kinds of coupling agent, such as YDH-602, YDH-102, NDZ-311 etc. The EG/PA6 composites were prepared using the two-screw extruder. The mechanical property, electrical conductivity, rheological property, thermodynamic property of the composites were studied, and the cross section configuration of the composites was observed by SEM.The following results are found. The effect of TX-10 is best in the used surfactants, the tensile strength is increased from 67.8MPa to 73.61MPa when the EG content is 1wt%. The effect of YDH-602 is best in the used coupling agent, the tensile strength is increased from 67.8MPa to 74.23MPa with the same EG content. The tensile strength is highest within the composites pretreated by TX-10 when the EG content is 1.4wt%, while the tensile strength is highest within the composites pretreated by YDH-602 when the EG content is 1.2wt%. With the increase of EG content, the bending strength of the composites is increased, but the notch impact strength is decreased. The volume resistivity of the composites is reduced rapidly with the EG content, and lowed to about 1×10~4Ω·cm. The rheological property of the composites is affected little by the surface pretreat reagents, but the viscosity is increased evidently with the account of EG.. The onset decomposition temperature and melt temperature are added a little by the surface pretreat reagents. With the increase of the EG content, the ending decomposition temperature, and the remaining quantity are added, but the melt temperature is reduced. By the SEM pictures, we can find that the EG nanosheet can be dispersed uniformity in the polymer matrix and the interface cementation is improved by the surface pretreated.
