In order to develop the substitute instead of the formerly traditional support of Palladium composite membranes,this paper mainly studied on porousγ-TiAl intermetallic compound material.In the study,the following intents were interfered with such as the infection of manufacturing processing parameters on the microstructure ofγ-TiAl intermetallic material,the infection of even of electroless liquid,stir velocity,plating temperature and plating time on the surface of Pd-membranes.By modern analyzing equipment,the paper characterized the microstructure of composite Pd-membrane,produced on condition that the electroless processing parameters were improved.And the properties of Pd-membranes hydrogen permeability and thermostability were tested.According to the above,we could draw some conclusions as below:1.Because of high porosity,low thermal expansion coefficient,pore diameter easy to control,easy to seal,high thermostability and no diffusion between the support and Pd-membrane,γ-TiAl intermetallic material was more fit to be the support of Pd-membrane than traditional materials.2.By improving the producing procedure and treating as the same material on the surface of support,free sintering was not a good one toγ-TiAl intermetallic material,otherwise,resisting sintering was a good process toγ-TiAl intermetallic material.3.Elctroless was adapt to manufacture Pd-membrane.4.The best procedure of electroless plating Pd-membrane supported byγ-TiAl porous material was:20mmol/L,PdCl2:250rpm; plating temperature:80℃;plating time:3 hours.5.The Pd-membrane manufactured by optimizing producing process,was homogeneous,and there was no defect on the surface of it.Its microstructure showed that Pd-membrane had good hydrogen selectivity and permeability,and because it was thin,it was economic too.6.When the composite membrane was treated with vacuum annealing at 773k for 96 hours,no interdiffusion was found under EDAX and XRD.This showed Pd-membrane had good thermostability...
