In the paper, Zinc acetate or zinc bromide(zinc perchlorate hexahydrate) and sodium hydroxide was used as material . Nanoparticle Zinc oxide was synthesized in non-aqueous medium.UV adsorption spectra were measured and effective mass model was used to calculate particle size in situ. Size distribution were analyzed by TEM The results are that the growth kinetics of nanoparticle ZnO was in agreement with LSW(Lifshitz-Slyozov-Wagner) model where the particle volume was proportional to aging time. However, the particle size distribution was found to inconsistent with the LSW model. the high concentration, ammonium, acetate, chloride can suppress growth of nanoparticle ZnO. The growth rate of nanoparticle ZnO in the tetrahydrofuran was smaller than in the iso-propyl alcohol.A technique method named as supersaturateon control growth was developed, which dealt with addition of nanoparticle suspension with small size to another suspension with big size.As a result, those small particles completely dissolved and those big ones totally grew because of dissolution degree difference between small particles and the big ones. The particle number of big particle suspension kept being a constant and the growth rate was much higher than Ostwald ripening.Main characteristic of this technique is that size distribution of nanoparticles can be narrowed provided original size difference of two suspension is big enough and original size distribution is not too broad.Supersaturation control growth can be used to prepare mono-dispersion nanoparticles.Nanoparticle Zinc oxide in different tempreture were calcined. The properties of the samples are characterized by means of XRD,DSC. We have conclusions below: Nanoparticle ZnO was hexagonal phase, when it calcined in 400℃,the size is 31.5nm.Nanoparticle ZnO in different tempreture were calcined. The were used for photocataly decomposing the solution of Malachite Green. The experimental results showed that titanium treated at 500℃,the prime dosage of photocatalytic is 0.03g.After 45min UV irradiation ,removal rate is 99.49%.the prime pH is 11.2, the solution of Malachite Green is 30mg/L ,dosage of Nanoparticle ZnO is 0.03g, after 45min UV irradiation ,removal rate is 99.6%. From 10w to 50w, The stronger the light intensity is, the higher removal rate is.Compared with different Photo Catalysts.the result is Nanoparticle Zinc oxide synthesized in non-aqueous medium have excellent photocalytic property. Finally the kinetic equation ,expressed by the Malachite Green degradation ,is given. The photocatalytic kinetics followed pseudo-first order reaction.
