Diesel Engine Aluminum Cylinder Head Material And Workmanship

The manufacturing process of aluminum cylinder head was briefly introduced. Technical problems associated with the aluminum cylinder head were summarized by analyzing the impact of alloying elements, refinement, and degassing process on the mechanical properties of engine material. Based on the experimental results, the content of alloying elements like Si, Mg et al and the amount of grain refining inoculants were optimized. The factors for the porosity formation were studied in detail and the reason for the porosity formation was mainly attributed to the quality of aluminum melt and the process parameters of refinement and degassing. By analyzing the solution treatment and aging treatment on the mechanical properties of the cylinder head material, investigated the heat treatment of aluminum cylinder head.The results of this study are closely associated with production and technical renovation. Based on this study, the diesel engine was successfully produced, and hopefully, the results of this study will make the mass production of high quality aluminum cylinder head possible in china.
