The discharge of urban sewage is the main reason of water pollution. It is very important to select a technically reliable and economically feasible process for sewage treatment. The research of the present domestic and the abroad situation of the classification of urban sewage and "Chemically Enhanced Primary Treatment" are introduced in this paper.The water quality was monitored about a year in Kunming No. II sewage treatment plant.We separated the dissolve pollutant of wastewater from suspended contamination used 0.45μm filtration membrane . Different flocculating agents had been chosen to treat wastewater. A experiment of hydrostatic setting that confirmed the best treatment condition of the sediment of Mingtong river and the sewage was put up. Experiment was conducted to explore the managing effect, ensured excellent condition and capacity, finally, analyzed run charge on the same circumstance by compared with uniform techniques Analyses current monitoring date. It can have overall recognizing of the quality of municipal sewage. Then can confirm a goof plan for construction the sewage treatment plant. It can have a firm base for prevention water pollution.The monitor results indicated that water quality generally changes along with the season and the temperature.Water quality target is high in winter and spring. In summer and fall, water quality is low. Each item of pollutant content in the water sample can be lower. In the sewage total BOD5 and COD ratio mean value is 0.51, BOD5 and the TP ratio mean value is 32.4. Based on the characteristics of contaminants in the sewage, processes of A2/O or chemical enhanced primary treatment succeeding with stabilization ponds or artificial wetland may be appropriate to treatment plant.A simple sedimentation and hydrostatic setting of the Mingtong river sediment were tasted. Two organic and inorganic flocculating agents were used in the treatment of municipal sewage. Through a lot of experiments, decides the optimum dosing quantity of flocculation agents to this kind of sewage, choosing the best fit, decides the reasonable dosing quantity in the best fit is:PAC+PAM(15mg/L+0.10mg/L).The COD cut down to 64.2 percent and pharmace- utricle costs 0.29Yuan/m3.Through analyzing the erection cost and operation cost, this conclusion can be drawn: Chemically Enhanced Primary Treatment technology can cut down 46% erection cost and 35% operation cost compared with A2/O.The methods adopted in this paper inapplicable in the filed of wastewater treatment. The result of the study can provide theoretical basis for the selection of wastewater treatment method. In the area, where secondary wastewater treatment is difficult to implement, especially in the underdeveloped regions of the west china, enhanced primary treatment is recommendable because it can remove most suspended pollutants and get good treatment result.
