Jin Chuan Group Limited Company (JNMC) is one of the biggest manufacturers in China which produce nickel, cobalt, platinum group metals and so on. It holds a world famous and large nickel and copper deposit with polymetal symbiotic. The Longshou Mine is the earliest underground mine of JNMC and is divided into east, centre and west mining area, among them, the ore grade of east and centre mining area is high, but the west mining area is regarded as lean-ore. The west lean ore of Longshou Mine has the characteristic of burying deeply, the shape and thickness of orebody more changeable,high-dipping,the orebody and wall rock broken up etc. The wall rock is unstable, because the orebody is cutted by the faults, so it's fragmentized,incompact and bally unstable. The horizontal stress of crustal stress is dominant, and it's compression stress, the largest horizontal stress is from 23.4 MPa to 39.1 MPa. To mine the type of orebody with large-scale, the synthetical technique is difficult, so it is very important to choose a scientific and reasonable mining method.This thesis takes the west lean-ore of Longshou Mine as research object, basing on the spot investigation and collecting a mass of data, carried on a technical evaluation about the west lean-ore of Longshou Mine, and it pointed out that the west lean-ore of Longshou Mine is applicable to large-scale cacing, what's more, the principle of Furry Math to also used to select a preference mining method, consulting and refereing to the successful experience of the domestic and abroad similar mines, it was firstly to choose mining methods by the Fuzzy Cluster Analysis and finally to choose mining method by the Fuzzy Synthetical Judge, at last making sure the Block Caving is an optimal mine method, and according to the actual conditions of Longshou Mine, making sure the concrete project of the mine method and reasonable parameter of the stope structure. The thesis afford academic and technical sustentation for selecting preference mining method of the west lean-ore of Longshou Mine.During the research, according to the Furry Math principle. the author exploited a computer programme, which is used to choose a reasonable mining method, the customer's interface of the programme is friendly,convenient and easily used, the programme can be used as a assistant tool to choose a reasonab mining method, has a popular application value.
