The preparation and quality standard study of drug extraction in shexiang zhuanggugaoshexiang zhuanggugao, which is made from drug extraction (Star Anise,Kaempferia galanga L,Monkshood root,Aconitum,Ephedra sinica,Radix Angelicae dahuricae,Atractylodes, Angelica sinensis,Dry Zingiber),Musk,Menthol,Borneol,other several kinds of drugs,for treating rheumatalgia, arthralgia, lumbago, neuralgia, muscle soreness,and so on. the author has made an experimental study on its preparation and quality standard.1.1 study of the preparationIn the point of preparation technology,we used the content of imperatorin and extracting ratio as evaluating indexes and investigated the test. the optimum extracting condition is: adding 10 times amount of 90% alcohol and refluxing and extracting for 1. 5h (totally extracting for 3 times).1.2 study of quality standardThe quality standard included the thin layer chromatography (TLC) identifiction of Star Anise,Kaempferia galanga L,Ephedra sinica,Angelica sinensis, Dry Zingiber. The content of Imperatorin in the preparation assayed by High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The COSMOSIL C₁₈ column(4.6mm×250mm, 5μm) was used, the mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.1% Phosphoric acid(52:48), the flow rate was 0.8ml·min, the detection wavelength was 300nm. Results: There was a good linear relationship between the quantity of injecting sample and peak area value of imperatorin within range of 50.2-251. 2ng (r=0.99997) ,the average recovery was 99.55%, RSD=1.97%. Conclusion: The method is simple and accurate, it can be used for quality control of drug extraction in shexiang zhuanggugao.
