With the development of manufacturing,traditional cutting can not already satisfy the needs of production.To develop and create new workmanships is becoming the tendency of manufacturing industry.Cold extrusion is a kind of advanced manufacturing technology without bits, it possesses the virtues of high quality,efficiency and low consumption.The question for discussion comes from provincial factory,associated reality production.Around the cold extrusion technics of star wheel in overrunning clutch,the paper makes a deep study.As a mid-working procedure in producing star wheel,cold extrusion makes low efficiency, and wastes material.Moreover,the star wheel has too low intensity to match the inquire of practice.Then,all make the question for discussion possess important meaning.In this paper,we detailedly research the preparation of roughcast and the heat treatment of material,and do much research in theory.In this process,we forecast the compound extrusion discipline with the slip-line method and compute the stress for star wheel.Meanwhile,we improved the existing mould across the reasonable technics project to solve problem of unsmoothed cover.
