Phosphorous-nitrogen flame retardants have been hotspot in the internal and overseas fields of flame retarding in recent years, for the reason that their phosphorous-nitrogen synergy, gas and curd flame retarding. Their non-halogen and low-toxin characteristics cater to the trends of ecological environment today. The objective of this dissertation is to synthesize one novel phosphorous-nitrogen flame retardant, DTBBP, and relevant intermediates, DTTBB, TBBHP, TBBPCA, characterize every productions molecule makeup by element content analysis, IR, ~1H NMR, LC-MS, and so on., test the flame retarding capability of production DTBBP. The next parts are the central experiments and conclusions.(1) DTTBB is synthesized ftom 2,4-di-t-butylphenol and peroxide of hydrogen. Orthogonal experimental design is used in synthesis of DTTBB. The yield could exceed 85%.(2) In synthesis of TBBHP, TBBPCI is synthesized ftom DTTBB firstly, TBBPCI is transformed to TBBHP by hydrolyzation reaction then. Melamine is used for catalyzer in this hydrolyzation reaction. The quality of TBBHP is ameliorated and the cost of TBBHP is depressed.(3) DTBBP is synthesized from TBBHP and diethylamme for the first time. Single factor experimental design is used in synthesis of DTTBB. The yield could be stabilized about 95%. The behavior of DTTBB in pyrogenation is characterized by DSC and TG.(4) The flame retarding capabilities of PP and HDPE is altered by adding DTBBP powder firstly. The relevant LOIs are heightened 40.0% and 12.4% each other, Level-upright burning testings of differ flame fire-retarded polymer are progressed then. The results are also explained by assistant DSC and TG.(5) TBBPCA is an intermediate of DTBBP. It is an important intermediate of another flame retardant which is entitled NTTBP. The technology that TBBPCA is synthesized from DTTBB under ultrasound irradiation is investigated in the dissertation. The parameter is optimized by single factor experimental design. The results are ultrasound shorten reaction time and heighten the yield of product.In these parts, The one of item (2) that TBBPCI is transformed to TBBHP by hydrolyzation reaction, in which melamine is used for catalyzer, item (3), item (4) and item (5) are put forward in this paper for the first time.
