The reserves of most mine is nearly exhausted and there isn't the standby reserve in Shandong province after mining many years. So it should study the feasibility about recovery and excavate the residual coal resource in obsolescence pit to make it sustained development. Consideration of the techniques' difficulty, it should make detailed investigation and analysis to the obsolescence pit, for increasing the economic benefits and satisfying the technical feasibility. In accordance with the different contributing factor of the residual coal resource, it should lay down the regulations for technical operations to assure the recovery security.The paper takes the status that the standby reserve isn't seriously enough in our province as study background. Judging by the occurrence peculiarity of the residual coal resource in Suncun mine, it researches and searches the scientific reasonable techniques. Firstly the paper makes the secondary feasibility valuation to recover the residual coal resource in Suncun mine. It primarily establishes the index system accord with the peculiarity in Suncun mine, unified the natural conditions, social and economic conditions, outside environment, and uncertain factor etc. It combines the multilevel vague comprehensive judging method with Delphi method, and estimates the feasibility in economic and technical aspect in advance. Secondly, it makes exactly estimation on the point of economic benefits and invest recovery phase, aimed at the specific feature of Suncun mine. Then, the paper researches the recovery technology fitting the feature for residual coal resource in Suncun mine. It can assure the economic rationality, the technical feasibility, safely reliability. It creatively applies the gangue resembling paste volume pipeline gravity flow filling technology to mine the security pillars under the town. It defines the optimal proportion parameter of the component material, bring the fine economic and environmental benefit.
