To support roadway very well,we must know surrounding rock deformation. Fristly,this paper studies the influencing factors of mining roadway-surrounding rock deformation under isolated land workface, and expounds its deformation characteristics by mechanics analysis. By the analysis,it provides the theoretical basis for roadway support.Although, it is very diffcult for the action mechanism that pre-stressed yield and shared bolt reinforces surrounding rock. At present,it has not formed the unified system in this research. From the analysis of mechanical characteristic of deformation surrounding rock in isolated land workface, this article has made the further discussion to its supports and protection. It has also analyzed the action mechanism in that pre-stressed and yield and shared reinforce the surrounding rock. By using the large-scale finite element numerical simulation software FLAC3D,it has done the simulation for the surrounding rock deformation under the effect of different pre-stressed yield and shared bolt parameters,and analied the result to obtain the science anchor support and design systems. In supports and protections idea,it changed the tradition design idea and proposed the system of pre-stressed yield and shared bolt support. Breakthrough the tradition idea,the pre-stressed yield and shared bolt support has been introduce by the relations between the surrouding rock stress and anchor characteristic. It is the high prestress that guarantees the supports effect;The properties of yield and shared is guaranteed that the anchor surpports are issubjected the uniform load,and it is the only way to prevent the failure of the anchor; The suitable support intensity and reasonable blot parameter and arrangement are the premise for the protection;The appropriate auxiliary supports can enhance the security reliability in the roadway supports.Finally, test-site monitoring of roadway, designed by supporting systems and programmes to effectively solve the problem of the roadway deformation under the condition of isolated land workface. It settled the phenomenon that the anchor offen are broken and contorl effectively the roadway deformation. The practice proved that the success of pre-stressed yield and shared bolt supporting system can provide the effective supports and protections method for the similar conditon.
