The dust of coal mine is one of the five biggest natural disasters. From the dust-producing situation of thin coal seam blasting face in China, when the procedures such as shoving coal, explosion, shoving coal, prop drawing, transferring operate at the same time, some coal mines' instantaneous total dust concentration may reach 400mg/m~3. The high dust concentration coming from mining spot will reduce the labor productivity and affect the output and benefit if the loss caused by dust is slight. If the loss is serious, it will lead to pneumoconiosis or dust explosion, even the gas explosion and cause the significant personnel casualty and the economic loss. So, the research on the controlling technique and technological process of coal dust with less-water in thin coal seam must be carried out. Then the research can reduce the dust concentration of the spot greatly and it has great signification for guarding the safe production of the coal enterprises, improving the working environment of the spot and protecting the workers' health.The topic uses theory research, the laboratory analysis and the surveying on the spot to carry out qualitative analysis and quantitative evaluation on the less water dust-controlling technique and process of the thin coal seam. Carry out theory analysis on the coal's construction, the stress analysis and locomotion process of the water in the coal seam, the dedust mechanism of water-injection of the coal seam, the mechanism of surface active agent wetting coal, the mechanism of dedust ratio rising after applying the surface active agent in the coal seam, the dedust mechanism of foam that affect the water-injection, dry boring, explosion and surface active agent dedust. Use physical and chemistry theories and take the above analysis result as the bases, the technique of rapid water-injection of the extremely thin coal seam is improving and the suitable water-injection parameters are determined. Based on the plenty of experiments of surface active agent wetting characteristic, the surface active agents used in the rapid water-injection of the coal seam are chosen and design the additive device. Based on the theory analysis of the dedust mechanism of the foam, the foam agent for dedust used for dry-holing in coal seam is confected and the foam agent device is developed. In allusion to deficiency of dedust for watering pre- and post shooting in the extremely coal seam, the automatic spraying technique of explosion with high pressure in the blasting face and adding the surface active agent in the water-stem are developed, then a lot of industrial experiment on the dust controlling technique and process with less water in the thin coal seam are done to confirm the research results' scientific and rationality.
