Due to the vast consumption of petroleum and petrolic products, soil contamination inevitably take place. In order to improve the soil environment, reduce the potential harm to agricultural production and human health caused by petrolic contaminations in the polluted soil and remediate the contaminated soil with an effective way, surfactants were used to treat the diesel contaminated soil with off site washing. It is used to review the remediation efforts of the petroleum contaminated soil.At first, the enhanced solubility of diesel with surfactants were investigated. Experimental results show the surfactants can effectively promote the solubility of diesel in water. And the effort of mixed surfactants , especially SDS/Tw80, better than the singles. The higher ratio of ionic surfactants is benefit to increase the solubility of diesel, too. At the same time, the higher ratio of ionic surfactants can also reduce the critical micelle concentration (CMC) of mixed surfactants.Second, it shows that the high concentration of ionic surfactants have high washing efficiency to the contaminations by the research of diesel contaminated soil's washing with surfactants. The addition of SDS could not only improve the adsorption phenomenon by soil but also ensure the comparatively high washing efficiency of pollutions. And the increscent ratio of SDS is benefit too. Two-factor analysis of variance diesel contaminated soil which is washed by mixed surfactant of SDS/Tw-80 shows that, improve the level of grain, organic additions and pH would bring active and distinct efforts to enlarge the washing efficiency. In addition, impact of water and solid ratio is not vast so the setting scale is reasonable. Contrary, augment the addition of inorganic additive, improve the temperature would limit the pollutions' washing result of the contaminated soil. On the condition of 10℃, particle grain of 100,w/s ratio of 10:1, pH=12 and additive of pentanol is 0.3ml, SDS/Tw-80 could possess the highest washing efficiency.Finally, contaminated soil's column filter experiment shows that, the surfactants solutions in the column have flowage stagnation phenomenon. The petroleum contaminated soil is much more suitable to be washed with mechanical condition.
