Inorganic microporous materials have attracted considerable attention on the basis of their fundamental properties and practical applications, such as catalysts, ion exchange and adsorption. There are have many kinds of borates because of the complexity of the structures involved, which leads to the existing of a series of borates materials with fine-properties. Therefore, the studies of the synthesis and crystal structure of microporous crystals containing boron have gained great interests in recent years. In this thesis, two novel borogallates microporous materials constructed by B-0 clusters and Ga-O units and one new inorganic-organic hybrid fluorogallate have been synthesized successfully by the reaction between Ga2O3 and boric acid / alkali-metal borate salts under mild hydrothermal / solvothermal conditions. Their crystal structures have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and further characterized by element analysis, FT-IR spectrum, Raman spectrum, Energy Disperse Spectrum, XRD and simultaneous DTA-TGSingle crystal X-ray diffraction analysis shows that the K2[Ga(B5O10)]·4H2O and Rb2[Ga(B5O10)]·4H2O are isostructural belonging to the C2221 Orthorhombic space group, with the following unit cell parameters: a=10.3798(7) (?), b=9.3934(7) (?), c=13.8051(10) (?),α=90°,β=90°,γ=90°, V=1346.02(17) A3, Z=4 for K2[Ga(B5O10)]·4H2O; a=9.5126(16) (?), b=10.3814(17) (?), c=13.959(2) (?),α=90°,β=90°,γ=90°, V=1378.5(4) A3, Z=4 for Rb2[Ga(B5O10)]·4H2O, respectively. They have chiral space group and 3D open framework with 8-, 8-, 8-and 11-, 11-multiring intersecting-channel constructed with B-O clusters and Ga-O units along the [100], [010], [001], and [110], [1(?)0] directions, respectively. It is worth noting that 11-ring is the largest odd ring among the known zeolite topologies. The inorganic-organic hybrid fluorogallate [C4H12N2][Co(H2O)6)][GaF6]Cl is monoclinic, space group P21/m with unit cell dimensions a=5.7574(17) (?), b=15.028(4) (?), c=9.697(3) (?),α=90°,β=100.439(3)°,γ=90°, V=825.1(4) (?)3, Z=2. The crystal structure consists of two isolated [C4H12N2]2+cation, a [Co(H2O)6)]2+ cation, a [GaF6]3- anion and Cl- anion. They are held together through both electrostatic interactions and the hydrogen bonds. It is worth noting that the [C4H12N2]2+cation comes from the decomposition of trithylenedieamine material under hydrothermal condition.
