This paper choose coal dust as experiment materials, analysis basic properties of the materials, indicate coal dust characteristic: The surface of coal dust is composed of aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons and oxygenated functional groups; coal dust with negative; from irregular spherical shape particles. On the basis of this study to study its own wettability of coal dust, the Coal Ash and Water of industrial analysis are belong to inorganic components, it promote the wettability of coal dust. Volatile and Fixed carbon are organic compounds, they belong to hydrophobic substances. Using Contact angle of coal dust to represent its wettability, use the ash, volatile and fixed carbon as variables, using SPSS software of mathematical statistics in multivariate linear regression function to establish a linear relationship between them, the results show that the 88.1% changes of contact angle is effected by the three ingredient.The effective ingredient of wetting agent is surfactants, using permeability experimental method to analyse wetting factors by surfactant, these factors including: generally nonionic surfactant have better wetting effect than anionic surfactant; there is an optimum concentration for wetting agent to wet coal dust; anionic surfactant solution added inorganic salt has improved its wettability greatly; different coal dust particle size of the wetting effect is different, smaller particles is difficult to wet than bigger particles.The paper also study the coal dust particles adsorption characteristics of surfactant, experiments show that: the nonionic surfactant and anionic surfactant adsorption isotherms on the coal dust surface are belong to L-type, this indicate the surfactant is rapid adsorbed in low concentration, absorption capacity reach saturation adsorption under higher solution concentration; the adsorption capacity has direct relation with coal; The adsorption isotherms is fitted by three adsorption isotherm model, the Redlich-Peterson model is the best fitting model, it shows that coal-dust surface is uneven, non-uniform porosity and surface are the main adsorption sites; according adsorption isotherm recognize the adsorption model of surfactant on the coal surface. From the micro perspective and the molecular level to probe to adsorption morphology of surfactant on the coal surface, it provides a theoretical basis for the development of new chemical suppressant dust agent.
