According to the prominent problem of the abnormal gob gas emission in the fully mechanized top-coal caving face, theory analysis, practical survey and computer simulation are tightly combined, with the foundation of the coal mine practical survey data and the dominant of the theory analysis and the numerical simulation, the gas emission regulation of the fully mechanized top coal caving face & gob and the main factors that effect the gas emission of the gob are comprehensively demonstrated, thus the science institution is provided for the fully mechanized top coal caving face integrate prevention.Firstly, the dynamic distribution and the permeability performance of the transverse "three zones" of the gob are deeply investigated by the theory analysis of the bulking characteristic of the fully mechanized gob caving rock and the practical monitor of the mine pressure, lay a foundation for the numerical simulation of the gob air flow field. Next the fully mechanized gob seepage mathematics model and its FVM solution are educed by the cooperation of Hydrodynamics, Porous Medium Seepage Mechanics and Computational Fluid Dynamics, the gob air flow condition is numerical simulated by the software Fluent, the distribution regulation of flow velocity and pressure are discovered. Next the gas emission and gas concentration distribution of the fully mechanized top coal caving face and its gob are respectively qualitative & quantitative analyzed by the element method and the embedding pipe method, the gas emission regulation and character of the fully mechanized top coal caving face and its gob are studied, and several effective methods are mentioned to predict the gob gas emission quantity. Finally, the main technology factors that affect the gob gas emission, such as the air quantity, the air pressure, the advancement distance and advancement velocity, are comprehensively analyzed, meanwhile the remarkable effect of the atmospheric pressure on the gob gas emission is primitively discussed.The gas emission of fully mechanized gob is a important composition of the coal mine and working face, the gas emission state of the gob is the major foundation to adopt the prevention technique and validate the prevention effect. Moreover the state of gob gas emission is affected by various factors, in order to reasonably allocate the face air quantity, regulate the drainage intensity of the gob gas and constitute technically & economically viable gas prevention measure, the gas emission source, characteristic and the relationship between the gob gas and correlative factors should be analyzed and griped.
