Titanium is a sort of applies broad metal because of its property.From titanium industry value,resource life-span and development prospects,With the new technological revolution and the industrial revolution indepth,titantium will be the "third metal" after iron,aluminium.The 21st century will be the century of titanium.The wider use of titanium has brought the gigantic economic effect to the community,the study and application of titanium will become more and more attention from all countries.Titanium is used in the production and life in all fields,and plays an important role.At the same time,the titanium protection has aroused great attention of the people,more and more scholars to join the titanium protection study.In this paper,the titanium corrosion behavior is researched by electricity chemical technology.In solutions of sodium hydroxide corrosion,or sodium hydroxide containing some anion.The research aimed at exploring the electrochemical ways of studying the affects of titanium corrosion behavior.That the titanium electrode can form a layer of the oxide film having protective effect, makes a titanium have a function being able to bear corroding.Evolution reaction on titanium oxide film,and its effects on the surface and bulk properties of the film,is an important subject in the Ti-based studies and applications.In this paper,trying to use linear sweep voltammetry, open circuit potential,cyclic voltammetry and other modern electrochemistry methods to study the corrosion behavior of the electrochemical titanium electrode in sodium hydroxide solution and in sodium hydroxide solution containing anions,such as F-,S2-,S2O32-.By comparing the measured electrochemical results in different solutions,we can know that the changes in the corrosion behavior of titanium is in close relation to the changes in the surface oxide film formed on titanium.By analyzing the results,at room temperature,titanium electrode in 0.1 M sodium hydroxide solution has a good corrosion resistance,a certain amount of F- can damage the oxide film of titanium.But S2- and S2O32- will not significantly damage the oxide film of titanium.The titanium still has a fairly good afunction,being able to bear corroding.In addition,some set of parameters in the electrochemical research methods have certain effect to titanium electrode corrosion behavior.Linear sweep voltammetry,cyclic voltammetry in the scan rate sooner,the corrosion of titanium faster.Open circuit potential in the constant potential of polishing the higher the voltage,the titanium metal corrosion has also stepped up.The study showed that the the electrochemical technology is an effective way to study titanium corrosion behavior.Study results have an important reference value to understand better the effect of the medium conditions to the corrosion behavior of titanium and titanium corrosion protection.
