This study focus on a kind of new polyethylene-polyamine pasty energetic material and a study of reaction mechanisms.The pasty energetic material is a kind of new energetic material based on solid energetic material.It combined the advantages of solid energetic material and liquid energetic material.Pasty energetic materials is synthesized by blending of oxidant,metallic fuel and the matter of adjusting the burning rate,the liquid agglutination matrix is used as a continuous phase,and the best formula of the pasty energetic materials is determined.In the paper,the reaction mechanism of synthesizing liquid agglutination matrix is attempted to be analyzed.And so is the burning mechanism of the pasty energetic materials.The basic performance of the matrix and the pasty product is also analyzed.Depending on the former work,this study took a further step on exploring the controlling condition of synthesizing polyethylene-polyamine pasty energetic material.The product is characterized by DSC and TGA.When the volume ratio between tetraethylenepentamine and ethylene glycol is 1:4,the raw materials are most effective,the DSC curve is even and smooth and the power is under control.It is fit in with the requests of pasty energetic material,therefore the ratio is relatively better than the others.Through FTIR and -1HNMR the reaction mechanisms is analyzed.It takes two steps.The sample that we synthesized has a much higher energy,and has very good stability,which can be saved a much longer time in the room temperature and atmospheric pressure.The burning experiments show that its quantity of heat is emitted continually if it is fired.
