Theβ-ditones and the match thing of its derivativeses is important a kind of ligands for lanthanide iones, which of its lanthanide complexes have found many applications in luminescent, catalysis and biomedicine and so on.In this paper, the binuclear bis(B-diketone) rare earth complexs and the mononuclear bis(B-diketone) rare earth complexs were synthesized. The lanthanide iones complexs were characterized by elemental analysis, and FT-IR, UV-absorption and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. Analysis of the fluorescence spectra suggested that lanthanide iones were sensitizered by the ligand .The first part of this paper , we synthesize binuclear bis(β-diketone) rare earth complexs Ln2(BPOPB)3.Comparing the ligand and the complexs,The UV-vis absorption spectrum shows that the formation of the coordinating bond between Eu3+ and BPOPB.Also the IR shows that the formation of the coordinating bond between Eu3+ and BPOPB. The fluorescence properties of the complexs in DMF solvent were investigated and it was discovered that the Eu3+ ions could be sensitized by the ligand, but the Nd3+ ions couldn't be sensitized. In the CCl4 solvent, all the lanthanide complexs were not sensitized, only the fluorescence of the ligand in complexs was excited. The sencond part of this paper, we introduced that three rare earth complexs ,which were Nd(TTA)3Phen, Eu(TTA)3Phen ,Tb(TTA)3Phen,were synthesized. The complexs were characterized by FT-IR, UV-absorption. Analysis of the IR spectra and UV spectra suggested that lanthanide iones were coordinated to the ligands. The fluorescence properties of the complexs were investigated. Nd (TTA) 3Phen, Eu (TTA) 3Phen and Tb (TTA) 3Phen were excited. TheNd (TTA) 3Phen complex's emission emission peak is 1060nm,which can be assigned to the transition 4F3/2â†'4I11/2. The Eu (TTA) 3Phen complex's emission emission peaks are centered at 580 nm, 590 nm, 612 nm, 652 nm, 703 nm,which can be assigned to the5D0â†'7F0, 5D0â†'7F1, 5D0â†'7F3, and 5D0â†'7F4, respectively. The Tb (TTA) 3Phen complex's emission emission peaks are centered at 490nm, 545nm, 584nm and 620nm, which can be assigned to transitions5D4â†'7Fj (j=6, 5, 4, 3) respectively.
