Plating Ni-p-cr/tio <sub> 2 </ Sub> Zro <sub> 2 </ Sub> Pairs Of Nano-composite Coatings

To obtain composite materials with corrosion resistance in seawater and antibacterial property,different shapes of nano-materials of TiO2 were made by AAO tamples. By direct current (DC) electrodeposits technique, we produced series of Ni-P-Cr/TiO2 nanocomposite coatings which contains nano-globeTiO2, nano-tubeTiO2, and nano-wireTiO2 respectlly. The anticorrosion and antibacteria property of the composite coating was evaluated by polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The results of electrochemical tests with more positive-shifting Ecorr, lowest Icorr and relatively high value of polarization resistance (Rp) in the artificial seawater proved that Ni-P-Cr/tube-TiO2 nanocomposite coating displayed better corrosion and antibacterial property .To endow the wear resistance to Ni-P-Cr/TiO2 nanocomposite coatings, ZrO2 nanoparticles was added to the basic bath. The optimal parameters of Ni-P-Cr/TiO2 ZrO2 nanocomposite coatings were deteriminded. The effect of current density, pH value of the electrolyte, plating time and nanoparticles content in electrolyte on the deposition rate, morphology, and particles content in coatings were discussed in details.The anticorrosion and antibacteria property of the Ni-P-Cr/TiO2 ZrO2 nanocomposite coatings was evaluated by polarization curves in 3.5% NaCl and EIS in SRB medium. The results of electrochemical tests with more positive-shifting Ecorr, lowest Icorr and relatively high value of polarization resistance (Rp) in the artificial seawater proved that compared with Ni-P-Cr/TiO2 nanocomposite coatings, Ni-P-Cr/TiO2 ZrO2 nanocomposite coating displayed better corrosion and antibacterial property .After determining the hardness and wear behaviors among composite coatings of Ni-P-Cr, Ni-P-Cr/TiO2 , Ni-P-Cr/ ZrO2, Ni-P-Cr/ TiO2 ZrO2, the hardness and wear resistance of the Ni-P-Cr/TiO2 ZrO2 nanocomposite coating was enhanced obviously .
