Water pollution is getting worsen gradually, and this consequence attracts highly concentration by public government in recent years. Therefore, the treatment of water pollution becomes very significantly. As a kind of contaminative water treatment method, the advanced electrocatalysis oxidation process technologies (AEOP) attain the concern of researchers due to their high efficiency, easy operation, and environment friendly, etc. Expanded graphite is a new type of nano-materials with superconductivity, thermal conductivity and other excellent performance, will be expanded graphite composites and other materials may be in the range of expansion by regulating the amount of graphite in order to change the electrical properties of conductive material, access to special-purpose materials .It specifically uses the method of chemical oxidation - microwave puffing to synthesize expanded graphite materials. we do research on the structure and properties of expanded graphite by using SEM, FTIR, XRD and XPS testing methods, and by the use of expanded graphite mesh macropore unique structure and excellent electrical conductivity, composited it with the ordinary activated carbon and then stereotypes roll the composite materials to prepare the activated carbon/expanded graphite/PTFE composite electrode conductive material, call that C/ PTFE composite electrode.Under the existing condition of electrolysis, we verify the C/ PTFE through both measurement of H2O2 generation which arising from the cathodic reduction of oxygen and inspection of HO·. Meanwhiles, utilizing the electrochemical analyzer to optimize the electrocatalytic oxidation properties of C/PTFE composite materials electrode we apply these outcomes on electrochemical degradation of water pollutants (Rhodamine B) to investigate a series of factors which can effect organic pollutants'reduction, such as current density, electrolyte concentration, pH value of solution and initial solution concentration of Rhodamine B. The results show that the c EG content of the complexat at a ratio of 25%, and PTFE mixture mass ratio of 3:1, the initial electrolyte pH value of 6.5, Na2SO4 electrolyte concentration 0.1mol/L, initial concentration of Rhodamine B for the 10mg/L, current density of 22.9 mA/cm2, the C/PTFE composite cathodic decolorization of Rhodamine B .
