Measurement uncertainty is a parameter that the relationship between testing results and dispersion of testing results by reasonable characterization. According to Accreditation Criteria for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories, Criteria for Laboratories Qualification Authentication, testing laboratories should have ability of evaluation.Traditional MSA analytical method is that type A evaluation of measurement uncertainty and type A component of measurement uncertainty are obtained through evaluating standard measurement uncertainty by statistical analysis method for multi factors; Type B evaluation of measurement uncertainty and type B component of measurement uncertainty are obtained through other methods. Standard measurement uncertainty of testing results equals the positive square root for sum of these components, and it is also synthetic standard measurement. And type B evaluation requires that all components of measurement uncertainty are analyzed as far as possible.Taguchi method and traditional MSA analytical method are different. Taguchi method pays more attention to engineering technique that how to make the best testing quality and it develops and designs testing equipments and testing methods which are stable, cheap and convenient from measurement Errors.The paper compared measurement uncertainty of Cu content in food by AAS with traditional analysis method and Taguchi method. Measurement Errors analysis was done under multi factors condition.Besides traditional analytical method, measurement uncertainty of testing results in testing laboratories is also analyzed by Taguchi method. When it has testing equipment which is not traceable or which is self-made or which has difficulty in finding component of measurement uncertainty, it is feasible that Taguchi method is used to estimate measurement uncertainty of the whole testing system.Taguchi method may make multi-level setting for multi factors of influencing the testing results, such as temperature, humidity, press, time and etc. Through orthogonal testing, the larger influencing factors for testing results will be obtained. And so testing results is more accurate, if it is controlled strictly in lab.Furthermore, Taguchi method may be used to make intermediate checks for testing equipment in order to provide the Theoretical base for deciding whether the testing equipment is good or the testing equipment is needed to degrade or discard.
