Powder conveying technologies in the Powder Engineering are the vital items. At present, the existed powder conveying technologies are applicable to the mass conveying throughput. The micro conveying studies are not intensively carried out. There are the following key problems in the powder micro conveying: the uncontrollable conveying throughput, the poor stability and uniformity.Based on the Digitalization of Microfluids Technology, the regulating device and micro-nozzles were designed. The regulating device could control the angle and the spatial location of micro-nozzles; micro-nozzles had the following characteristics: the simple structure, low production costs, and applicability in the high-temperature environment.The digital powder micro conveying experimental system was built up, and the basic experiments had been done. The results showed the system had the impressive performance on controllability, uniformity and orientation. The experiments was done to research how the driven parameters, micro-nozzle structural parameters, regulating parameters, powder physical properties impacted the micro conveying, Summarized the basic law of powder micro conveying.For the application of micro powder conveying on the laser cladding, the preliminary experimental studies were conducted. The results showed that the digital powder micro conveying experimental system based on the Digitalization of Microfluids Technology had the following characteristics: tiny conveying throughput, high controllability, and good stability.
