In this paper, the research background from the continuous casting billet with the requirements of the grain refinement. The magnetic fields was used to refined solidification structure and improve the temperature field and stress field and optimizing the aluminum alloy molding process and attaining high-performance casting billet. The continuous casting of aluminum melt flow behavior under the magnetic field effect is an important aspect affected billet organizations. The main researches in this paper are listed as follow:1. The numerical simulation method of flow field, the numerical value dispersing and solution of the control equation was expatiated. The flow state in the nozzle cavity melt under different casting speed conditons,which is on the 3C casting machine, was calculated and analyzed. It is provides the necessary basis for establishing the correct nozzle cavity and casting zone aluminum melt flow field model.2. The aluminum melt exit velocity and temperature of the nozzle cavity which configurate different distributaries blocks under continue casting condition was analysed. Then the changing disciplinarian of the nozzle cavity flow field under the location parameters of distributaries block affect,effect of the nozzle opening degrees to flow field were also analysed.3. Analysed the aluminum melt flow field, temperature field and force changes in the continuous casting under the DC magnetic field effect. The results show that: Imposed DC magnetic field alone is not conducive to the smooth continuous casting and not the purpose of grain refinement.4. Analysed flow field features in the continuous casting under traveling-wave magnetic field, the direction of traveling wave magnetic field campaign acts on the aluminum melt flow, temperature field and the impact force. The results show that: Imposed the traveling wave magnetic field in the Z direction, aluminum melt just suffered the most vigorous in the casting area is conducive to grain refinement. When the frequency of the traveling-wave magnetic field is 20Hz and the wavelength is 0.2m,The nozzle exit flow field and temperature field distribution is relatively uniform.
