Boron is a kind of important chemical raw material. The reserves of boron resources are abundant in China, which are the fifth in the world. But most of them can't be utilized for these complexities. At present, these raw materials of preparation boric acid are main ascharite in China. However, the ascharite resources were increasingly drying up in recent years. Therefore, to explore researches on extracting boron from complex born ore and saline boron resources, especially seek foe appropriate techniques of extracting boron from brine are necessary.The technological parameters are determined by the characteristic of saline brine in Xinjiang municipality which contain large concentrations ratio of Mg/Li, but low boron concentrations. This paper selects ion-exchange resin to extract boron. Saline brine was pretreated first, and then selected D403 and XSC-700 ion-exchange resin to extract boron. Through compared absorption experiment of self-made boric acid solution and pretreated brine, the adsorption time, dilution ratio, pH, temperature, viscosity, B concentration, Mg concentration and other factors on ion-exchange resin in adsorption process were studied. The processes of elution were researched respectively for the concentration of acid, the dosage of acid, and temperature of elution with hydrochloric acid and vitriol acid. The experimental results showed that the extension of adsorption time, increased the solution pH, increased the B concentration, reduced viscosity and Mg concentration were conducive to the adsorption process, and increased temperature could increase the rapid of adsorption but didn't significantly affect the adsorption capacity. XSC-700 resin represented more excellent effect. When the dilution ratio was 15%, it could uptake 1.29mmol/g. The efficiency could up to 92.6% while 20g resins were used in 250ml diluted saline brine. The processes of elution were determined by the concentration of acid and the dosage of acid. The result indicated that the effect of elution was well when hydrochloric was treated for elution, and the temperature of elution treacid the dosage of acid, and temperature didn't significantly affect the elution capacity. With 20ml 0.5mol/L hydrochloric acid eluted 2.5 g loaded resin, the efficiency of elution was up to 92.6%, and boron concentration of eluted solution was 1.75g/L which could be used to extract raw boric acid immediately.Raw boric acid need be prepared by re-crystallization method for its low boron ratio 85.8%.The optimal conditions of re-crystallization method are:add pure water 380%,stirring speed 80r/min,cooling speed 30℃/h.H2O2 could be used if the color of product is duck. Then wash it 2-3times,and dry the wet boric acid about oven.Finally,with verifying of XRD and ICP,the product which is up to national first standard.
