Since the 20th century, semiconductor photocatalytic technology is believed to be one of the main method in the future degradation of organic pollutants. TiO2 is believed to be a promising photocatalyst for degradation of organic pollutants present in wastewater because of its high activity, low cost, chemical inertness, and photostability. However, its two bottleneck factors restrict its practical. Thus, to further enhance its ultraviolet light and improve the utilization of active is very important. In related research papers and based on our group research, this paper mainly studied at improving nanometer TiO2 photocatalysis properties of modified strategies.First, through phosphoric acid impregnation process realized nano TiO2 surface modification synthesis by sol-hydrothermal methods. The effects of the post-treatment with phosphorous acid on the thermal stability, photoinduced charge separation and photocatalytic activity are investigated in detail. The results show that the post-treatment markedly enhances the thermal stability of the anatase TiO2 crystallites, the post-treated samples by thermal treatment at high temperature exhibit high activity, even superior to P25 TiO2, which is ascribed to the high anatase crystallinity and the large surface area.Then design three-phase junction system. The influence of photocatalytic activity is expected to improve separation and transfer of the carrier. Preliminary experimental results show that the performance of the composite system, and improve the performance of adsorption of the visible activity. Detailed studies are underway.In the research we found the key step of design a three-phase junction system is the sulfide silver nanoparticles control. Due to the small Ag2S solubility, synthesis processes always produce larger particles. In this paper we successfully synthesised nano sulfide silver nanoparticles.In this paper, through constructing three-phase junction to improve the nanoparticles photocatalytic performance, and synthesis of the small particle size innovationly. For the design and synthesis of high photocatalytic materials of semiconductor provide powerful support.
