Drilling fluid is called mud fluid briefly. Drilling fluid technology is the important component part. Along with the drilling becoming harder and harder, it will play a important part in ensuring a safty, quality and quickly drilling. When encountering a bad ground of pressure depleted layer, broken layer and split growing layer and so on, drilling will be often met a series of problem, such as differential pipe sticking, reservoir damaged, mud loss and snakes in borehole and so on. Then traditional drilling fluid system always attends to one thing and loses another, it will not resolve the above-mentioned problem at the same time. So we propose non-invasion drilling fluid (ultra low penetration drilling fluid) to resolve the above-mentioned problem.In this paper, we will study the ultra low penetration drilling fluid treating chemical be used at home and abroad, which be based on drilling fluid plugging theory, and referring a great quantity of literature. We can obtain ultra low penetration treating chemical molecule structure and composite scheme through dissection. We propose the approach of ammonium sulphate-sodium bisulfite being initiator and homogeneous phase copolymerization to synthetise the terpolymer of maleic anhydride/acrylamide/acrylic acid, alpha olefin sulfonate/acrylamide/acrylic acid and alpha olefin sulfonate/acrylamide/cis-butene diacid separately.In this paper, we will further confirm system parameters of the bset temperature of reaction, initiation system, pH, the match of monomer, monomer concentration and reaction time and so on through the experiment. We will characterize gained polymer by infrared spectrum, determine the inherent viscosity by GB12005.1-89. At last we demonstrate the three polymer have some effect of plugging and select the best terpolymer through sand-bed plugging experiment.
