In this dissertation, the structural characteristics of cavity that is situated in the head of underwater vehicle and inner noise character was studied and realized thoroughly. The noise testing method of the cavity was established elementarily by combining the trait of ship noise measurement. Based on the analyzed results of the ship noise measurement, the spatial distribution character and varied law of the noise sources which inside of the cavity was studied. Thus the relevant characteristic curves were obtained, and these characteristic curves were expatiated minutely. Furthermore, the effect of interferential noise sources such as propeller noise, hydrodynamic noise and mechanical noise on the cavity was analyzed by using the ship measurement results, and the character of primary noise sources which being in the cavity was provided. The dissertation emphasized on the research of identifying and ascertaining the position of the interferential noise sources in the cavity. In order to study the interferential noise sources deeply, the ship measurement datum from a typical of underwater vehicle as it sailed underwater at a low speed were used to analyze the interferential noise sources.
