As China's current stage of energy development, Coal-water slurry technology is the key to clean coal technology, and coal-water slurry can also be used in combustion of replacing oil for boiler as the success of energy saving and environmental protection technology, it is also the long-term stable development of China's energy strategy and a realistic choice. The application of large-scale coal-water slurry combustion and comprehensive presentation needs of the higher CWS atomization technology.With the background of a new power plant in Guangdong Nanhai 670t/h coal-water slurry boiler combustion technology applications, this paper mainly researched in the spray nozzle for the CWS conducted by a series of experimental studies and explorations. Through fully overview of the current coal-water slurry combustion technology, as well as the development and application of technological research based on the nozzle, A new kind of CWS atomizer according to the characteristics and the combustion of coal-water slurry has developed, it can be used for the new boilers with different capacity.As the coal-water slurry nozzles usely atomized by steam in the combustion of coal-water slurry large-sized boiler,in terms of air-atomized is the first application,.For further study and exploration of the spray nozzle performance, experiments using cold and hot state industrial test the performance of the nozzle to conduct a comprehensive understanding. Through experiments made clear the impact of nozzle atomization characteristics and flow characteristics of the factors, the internal nozzle flow parameters and the external flux density distribution of researching, gived nozzle selection and structural design guidance observations.This article also further explore the characteristics of supersonic gas atomization and effects, design a simple Y-type structure of single-hole nozzle Rafael, researched the atomization characteristics and the changes in pre-export the pressure. At last, make a transformation of the Dashing-style multistep aotomizing atomizer, as passe the test found that Rafael structure and export of air-channel pore for improving the spray nozzle effect is feasible. It can provide an experimental basis for the improvement in the structure of the nozzle in future.
