In recent years,more and more people pay attention to affetcion of the flow characteristics with vegetation. Whether in the floodplain, channel,or wetland, vegetation, the presence of elevation of the flow of water changed the structure of water. In plants with a front end, the presence of vegetation reduces the average flow velocity, so increasing the probability of sediment deposition; The erosion phenomenon will be found for been impact of flow from vegetation on the rear river bed,the same time,the presence of vegetation reduces flood channel capacity.Domestic and foreign research on this issue is very rare, because of vegetation, the rivers and wetlands, water flow channel of the complexity and specificity. Since the 1980s late, Some scholars research some related issues of a sort of concrete conditions in accordance with needs of personal. But the influence from the vegetation to the sand and the water is not very clear. Therefore, it is necessity what feature of flow with vegetation reseach, and make people be familiar with the issue.Many research results about the flow issue with vegetation had been summarized in this paper, and the issue of the flow with vegetation are been class the flow of flexible vegetation and the flow of rigid vegetation, and the anthor particularly design gutter experimentation according to the flow of flexible vegetation and the flow of rigid vegetation. The following research contain main contents.Firstly:The experimentation about the flow of flexible vegetation and the flow of rigid vegetation has been reseach in this paper. Transient flow field and longitudinal water level of the gutter have been measured in the of different flow level and the different of altitude of vegetation by ADV and measuring needle, and the anthor analyze longitudinal water surface curve and vertical velocity flow in a line. The diversification of equivalent granulation coefficient and resistance coefficient in the different of vegetal phase are been discussed in this paper.Secondly:In this paper, the flow with vegetation and sand is been research. At the begin with experimentation, the sand is been laid. To filling up the riverbed form was been measured in the same condition of time and coming flow by measuring needle. Furthermore, the anthor analyze the change of filling up the riverbed form with vegetation growth.Thirdly:The flow with rigid vegetation were been simulate by the better of mature RNG k—εmodel at present. By the simulating method, the result of simulating was comtrast with the experimental result, and analyzed the characteristics of the flow with rigid vegetation.
