Application Research Of Chinese Traditional Elements In The Landscape Planning And Design Of Dianyiyuan Residential Area

As China's modernization and urbanization process and the people's living conditions improving, residential landscape design shows unprecedented prosperity. At the same time, the design also reflects the ideological confusion, with the potential for a variety of bewilderment: the traditional and the modem, international and regional, technology and the arts and so on. Rooted in the soil of Chinese culture, the" Chinese" landscape are inseparable of the meaning and modern forms of the additional elements. The Research of traditional Chinese cultural elements has important significance of the modern Chinese landscape design. The "Chinese" style house sparked the rise of the modern Chinese style of landscape design and there appears some outstanding works of modern Chinese landscape, but still lack of deep theory of the traditional Chinese elements and modern "Chinese" landscape design.Firstly, this research introduced the research purpose and status of the traditional Chinese cultural elements in the application of modern landscape design, and expounded on the concept of the Chinese traditional elements and new "Chinese" landscape, and then analyzed the traditional Chinese elements through the spiritual and the material cultural dimensions as well as the characteristics of the classical Chinese landscape elements and its use points and the traditional landscaping practices through conception, picturesque scene and habitat analysis. Through the methods of the literature analysis, field investigation and analysis, and multidisciplinary analysis method, to analysis the excellent example of Chinese modern landscape from the landscape layout, architectural features, plants and other features and thus to explore and think about the content of Chinese living landscape forms.Take the DianYiyuan residential area in Kunming as the study area. Through the analysis of basic theory and the site analysis and its surrounding environment, the overall concept of landscape design is formed namely, "to create a Chinese 'rhyme' love of the 'Hermit' territory, reflecting the feelings of leisure and elegant living; meet modern Hermit, while advocating a healthy attitude about life." Landscape style is: "totally natural traditional Chinese ink landscape garden, rich in profound cultural foundation and a clear historical context without losing the modern and comfort. And to build full of charm of Chinese modern style landscape through"a strong human sense of aesthetic experience and tortuous metaphor ". Taking"the quiet and primitive nature sense of Taoist Culture, creating the poetic ecology place which is in unity of conception, picturesque scene and habitat"as the design concept which are through to the following every step of the design. The entire landscape arrangement is formed"a water context and six Landscape node". The planning also includes the planning of road systems, architectural ornaments and the design of the plant landscape.Through the study of the Chinese traditional elements and its using in the Chinese style landscape design, as well as the applied research of the Chinese traditional elements using in the planning and design of the DianYiyuan residential area, it's concluded as follows:(1) The Chinese traditional elements divided into two parts in this study, and that are the spiritual and material aspects of the traditional elements. According to the impact of the traditional Chinese elements on the landscape design, the spiritual cultural aspect in this study includes the concept of traditional Chinese ethics, nature, folk customs, traditional concepts, human consciousness and aesthetic. And the material cultural aspect includes traditional pattern, shape and material. These studies contribute to the overall grasp of the traditional thinking and the reference of "shape" and "meaning" in practice.(2) The modern "Chinese" style of residential landscape is reflected in two major forms, one is"the landscape reappearing the classical Chinese living scene" and the other is "landscape-oriented spirit of the Chinese living in the Heritage and beyond." Outstanding modern Chinese landscape should have several features: the "modern western landscaping theory; traditional gardening experience; new technology; materials, space and artistic conception." The"new Chinese style"residential landscape design reflects mainly as the following aspects, the use of traditional gardening method; the use of Chinese traditional flavor color; the use of the Chinese traditional symbols and patterns and the plant space creating to build a modern Chinese charm landscape.(3) The material used in architectural ornaments design are traditional Chinese materials such as wood, stone, tile, thatch, etc. combined with the modern new materials such as glass, plastic materials , iron, etc. The colors of architectural ornaments are Chinese traditional colors such as red, gray and white. At the same time, pattern with Chinese characteristics and traditional culture were absorbed. In the using process, the traditional patterns with complicated forms are simplified, showing a high level of general shape and keep the ancient tradition culture, combined with modern structure and artistic imagination to enhance the cultural appeal of architectural ornaments.(4) Plant landscape design based on the reference to the traditional plant-type configuration and fully comprehending the method of traditional garden planting, to format the whole rhyme styles plant landscape that"not only matching with Stone Mountain, water, landscape architecture and ornaments, but also autonomy. At the same time, ornamental plants were selected with symbolic implication of traditional gardens and adapting to the Yunnan local climate, and the growth characteristics, morphological characteristics, seasonal changes and aesthetic charm to create a beautiful seasonal plant landscape.(5) Culture is the vitality of landscape design. Chinese residential landscape design firstly should based on a deep understanding of traditional culture. in order to have integration and innovation. It also should clearly recognize that nationalization is not a simple repetition and the inheritance and development are not of shallow levels, but should be easy to be understood and absorb the traditional essence in the form of the culture expression to find the intersection of modern.Finally, it is believed that "the new Chinese landscape" will become the development trend of residential landscape design. The truly spiritual of traditional landscape design should have such a condition that both the"objects"design and"artistic conception"should be to meet the aesthetic taste of the Chinese people and to meet modern people's lives.
