The bench test of the engine as the important part of the research in the mini-vehicle engine is more and more important with the developing rapidly mini-vehicle industry. The engine could endure the mechanical and heat load, and the defect motor may be fault and damage the bench or hurt people in the experimentation of the engine bench test. The thesis is aimed at the monitoring software that can monitor the bench test and report the alarm when the fault is come forth in order to protect the testing bench facility and people.The thesis introduced the implementation procedure of the monitoring technique and achieved software with LabVIEW is based on the bench trait and the entropy of information and order analysis with the vibration signal, and the software include with the module of monitor and off-line analysis. In conclusion, it verified the monitoring technique and the software with the test that proved out that the technique is right and workable and the software is universal property. The context for the study mainly included:(1) The research included with signal processing technology and the theory of entropy of information and order, and it discussed the theoretical principle of monitoring technique.(2) The thesis applied for the monitoring way based on the entropy of information and the order theory and related and analyzed the monitoring content, and introduced the characteristic of the bench test.(3) It set up the monitoring model based on the Shannon entropy with LabVIEW and gave out the reasonable algorithm of the parameter in the model. The research on power spectrum entropy was proved that was the important content and gave out the range of power spectrum entropy during the bench test's normal operation. In the discussion of COT, the paper included with the computational method of the revolution and the range of the characteristic value of order analysis. Lastly, the thesis testified the correctness of the monitoring technique. Meanwhile, the thesis made out the software was suitable for use in the bench test for mini-vehicle. (4) The thesis was authoring monitoring software must be included with the on-line and off-line modules based on Shannon and power spectrum entropy and order analysis.Beginning from the practical application, standing on the height of mathematical modeling and using mathematic method in signal processing, the thesis found the way of the monitoring engine bench test and gave out the monitoring technique in order to protect the bench and operator and author the monitoring software.
