Performance-based seismic design method is currently an important topic for earthquake engineering research, the idea is to ensure that the structure have a predictable seismic performance under the expected earthquake, and the performance goals can be on-demand options.In this paper, high-speed railway simply supported beam bridge as the research object, the author elaborate that based on displacement and injury in seismic design method of high speed railway bridge to achieve process, at home and abroad based on the theory of existing paperThe main research work are as follows:1. According to the high-speed railway pier round end section, the bending moment curvature relationship is researched in the different section size, reinforcement ratio, axial compression ratio. And based on the analysis of the research results, the author obtained the round end shape section yield curvature and the curvature of the limit on material strain simplified formulae.2. The formula is derived how to calculate the length of plastic horn in the bottom of the pier. This formula is relevant and curvature. Based on the derivation of the target displacement, the material strain and pier top target displacement have been connected and a high-speed railway method for determination of the target displacement can be built.3. Based on our country the railway engineering anti-earthquake design specification, the author expounded the principle how to build elastic-plastic response spectrum and proposed the seismic design method based on displacement of high-speed railway bridge piers. The last, the author made a aseismatic design example in different performance goals.4. Using elastic-plastic time history analysis method for high speed railway bridge pier analysis. Put forward the high-speed railway bridge pier seismic design method based on damage. Through analysis of the practical examples, the high-speed railway bridge piers seismic design method based on displacement and damage have been compared, and their rationality have been verified. 5. The author evaluate to our country's existing 24m and 32m high-speed railway beam bridge's aseismatic function. Validation the rationality of railway bridge seismic design in China.
