With the development of transportation engineering construction to mountainous areas which topography is very complex, furthermore the terrain conditions and route controlled by the technical indicators, there were a large number of high embankment and deep cutting inevitably, in which the stability problems that high soil slope of cutting have become more and more important. In the thesis, based on summarizing and absorbing the research achievements of the pioneer works in stability analysis methods and commonly used reinforcement measures of high soil slope of cutting, combined with practical work of Gui-Kai railway, bye the method of theoretical analysis and numerical value simulation. The research work of the paper involves several aspects as follows:(1) Researching and elaborating the application and theories on the limit equilibrium method (Bishop simple method, Fellenius method, Janbu method, unbalanced thrust method) and finite element method in high soil slope of cutting. The basic form of damage, the mechanism of reinforcement, different calculation methods and the applicability of reinforcement are analyzed on the high soil slope of cutting.(2) Combined with practical work, it analyzes solutions of reinforcement and selects a suitable program of sheet pile bulkhead in toe and anchor frame beam on side, by using the limit equilibrium method to design and calculation the slope.(3) Based on strength reduction theory, a finite element software named ABAQUS is used to numerical simulated and evaluation the slope after reinforcement.(3) There are several aspects of stability evaluation have been discussed:studying the safety factor and post-slip surface of slope reinforcement through applying different instability criterion; Then researching the stability of reinforcement on the critical state of pile and anchor stress and strain analysis; (4) Drawing relevant conclusions for the high soil slope of cutting by means of comparing the stabilizing factor's sensitivity analysis and providing some reference to the slope stability analysis and reinforcement measures.
