Long-span steel box-girder tied-arch bridge is a kind of widely used bridge, which has the outline of concinnity and excellent crossover capability. Taking Ji-Yun Super Major Highway Bridge as the project background, the dynamic characteristics and train runability of long-span steel box tied arch bridg are simulated and studied in this paper. The main works are as followed:1. Research and development of steel box-girder tied-arch bridges in recent years are summarized and the research status of coupling vibration analysis at home and abroad are reviewed. Then this paper elaborates the necessity of research of train-bridge coupling vibration system for long span box girders through tied-arch bridge.2. Based on the principle of total potential energy with stationary value in elastic system dynamics and the "set in right position" rule for formulating system matrixes, the finite element model of long-span steel box-girder tied-arch bridge is established. And the natural vibration characteristics are analyzed.3. Based on the analysis models mentioned above, the dynamic responses of the vehicle-bridge system under different conditions are analyzed. And we could come to the conclusion as follows:Ji-Yun Super Major Highway Bridge has good dynamic characteristics and train running property.4. The influence of temperature deformation on train-bridge system dynamic response is calculated and analyzed, the results show that:the effect of temperature deformation on dynamic response of bridge is not huge, the running property of train meets requirements under different temperature deformation conditions.
