Study On Soft-soil Ground Treatment Technique When The Old Road Is Being Widened

The land use increases highly with the development of highway construction, and the rebuilding of the old roads is becoming a new orientation, which can relieve the pressure of land use and energy consumption. The combined type with crushed stone pile, grid crushed stone bed cushion, loading precompaction, and consolidation drainage was presented and key parameters were monitoring systemtically during the construction process, combined with the No.1 highway rebuilding project in Qingdao. The measuring data show that the method of handling soft soil basement with combined type described above is practical which is fast, economic,effective.The construction technology and handling measures of old road broaden engineering soft soil basement in littoral facies were concluded based on Qingdao No.1 highway project, which can be used as a guildline for similar highway project.
