More and more attention is paid to aseismic design. This paper introduces the development of the theory and method of aseismic.To the imperfection of current Code of Highway Engineering Aseismic Design in our country. Propose the two- phase design method, which means using elatic design in small earth quake and ductility design in large earth quake. programs were build to calculate the steel rate. analysis the curve of M-9 and examine the anti shear of circular pier. Combining with encineering practice. this paper design and analysis a bridge. The aseisrnic design method in this paper is simple. clear and applicable in practical bridge design.
