Soft Soil Subgrade Settlement Calculation Method Applied Research

By using the results of settlement observation in Tianjin , a study of how to use the settlement computation methods of soft clay subgrade has been made in this paper, which includes the followings: 1. On the basis of evaluating and analyzing the existing settlement computation methods of soft clay, the relevant program is compiled; at the same time, the selective methods of related settlement computation parameters are studied. 2. This paper inquires into the finite element method of soft clay and compiles the applicable program. 3. In view of the characteristics of Tianjin soft clay,the observation on test ground of soft clay subgrade has been developed, furthermore, the results are evaluated and analyzed in this paper. 4. At last, combining with the settlement materials of soft clay in Tianjin , this paper compares and analyzes the computation by the theory and further improves the programs.
