Mechanical Fault Diagnosis and Mechanical Equipment Condition Monitoring came into being at about I 970.For its practicability and the benefit it bring to the enterprise, it is felt important by the director of government and enterprise more and more. Lately, as the development of the computer technology., signal analysis data processing.. the theory of control.. theory of vibration and noise and relative theory, Mechanical Fault Diagnosis and Mechanical Equipment Condition Monitoring has made great progress in recent ten years. The purpose that we monitor the condition of the equipment is mainly to tell how long we still can use the equipment. The main technology we use to do this job is trend analysis , that is we can get the equipment condition and its trend through monitoring the mechanical equipment periodicity. Via long time monitoring, we can know the equipment well and reach the top goal of maintainability-Predictive Maintenance. Because of its practicability , more and more people become interested in it. I expatiate on the technology of trend analysis based on several kinds of signal, especially the computing technology based on vibration signal energy and how to use some standards in this paper. The idea of Object Oriented programming .~ its theory and realization was also discussed in this paper, after that the paper analyzing the necessary steps and request of applying program. On base of above work , I develop one set of trend analysis software based on Microsoft Windows9x with Microsoft Visual C++. As an auxiliary part of trend analysis software, I also develop a simple integrated fault diagnosis environment to diagnose the familiar gadgets. This program can diagnose spindle., bearing and so on expediently. It can tell the user the symbol of several ordinary fault and the explanation of the fault diagnosis method. Report sheet is a method to preserve the important information .When finished analysis each time ,we need a report sheet to keep the information and to tell how to deal with the equipment. Every parts of this software all have their inside report producer. The producer can collect information produce report and print report. The technology of life-span analysis and prediction based on trend analysis will bring much benefit to the enterprise, and it is a urgent need in practical production. Now. few achievements on this respect are obtained at home. Therefore, the work of this paper has not only some value in the sphere of learning but also relatively broad practical prospect.
