| The project - Hydraulics of stepped spillways with aerated splitter isaided by the key state laboratory attached to Sichuan University. Itpresents a new type of device with energy dissipation and water aeration-stepped spillways with aerated splitter, for the purpose of dissipatingenergy along steps gradua11y.Based on gravity similarity, experiments on stepped spillways withor without aerated splitter were conducted in contrast. Many hydraulicproblems were investigated by systematic model tests and theoreticalanalysis such as water-surface current, air aeration, velocity andpressure characteristic. Energy dissipation is also dealt with. Theconclusion drew from this study can be used as reference in preliminarydes ign. |
