The active attacking rocket propelled mine detects and positions the targets from a underwater platform. It requires the sailing body meeting with the target on the sea surface to attack the target after it is emitted. Therefore it is necessary to determine and predict the track of the target, and also the moment of emitting the sailing body. In this article, we analyze the ways how the underwater platform positions the targets, and list out the modified formulaes for calculating the target track in geomagnetic coordinate according to the rotation and vibration of the platform. As to determine and predict the target's track and velocity, the traditional Kalman Filter and the adaptive Kalman Filter methods are adopted. And then the results of these two methods are analyzed and compared. Finally, the ways to determine the explode moment and the emit moment are given with the regional attack method. We also verify the efficiency of the adaptive Kalman Filter using the simulation data and the sea-test data.
