The performance of two-stroke engine lies much on that whether scavenging process is perfect. So the scavenging process is the emphases of the study on the two-stoke engine. It is the better method by using numerical simulations to study the scavenging process of two-stroke engine and direct the design of it in order to improve the scavenging process and get higher scavenging efficiency. This thesis's purpose is to study the affect on the efficiency of the structure of the diesel engine with anything else fixed and to direct the design of the diesel's port structure.The primary work of this thesis is as follows:(1) Using the block-structure gird method to generate the three-dimensional body-fitted mesh of the diesel;(2) Study the KIVA-3 program and compile the preprogram to make the data of the mesh could be read by KIVA-3;(3) Through three-dimension numerical simulations, the affect of change of the port structure on the loop scavenging processes in the Model E150 diesel engine are studied;(4) Compile the post-program to make the result descriptive so that it is convenient for understanding and analyzing the flow field in the cylinder;(5) Conclusion and the improved design scheme of ports.The research work of this thesis has much guiding significance on the design of the two-stroke engine.
