The paper studies the application of state space theory to the structure dynamic question from the aspects of dynamic character, dynamic response and active structural control in detail. And aiming at the shortages, some useful opinions and good analysis methods are brought forward, which benefits the development of applying state space theory to structure dynamic question.Concerning on dynamic character, the paper analyzes the system matrix directly and finds out the reason why system surge by energy theory, therefore sets up an easy method to get the vibration frequency and attenuation coefficient and compiles a Matlab procedure, Then analyzes the affection of high vibration mode with it when stiffness changes and give some useful suggestion how to choose the numbers of vibration mode.Concerning on dynamic response, after the shortages of traditional methods are illuminated, a method how to get structure dynamic response based on improved Eular formula is put forward with a procedure. An example can show that the method is a simple and liable method suitable to use in fact.Concerning on active structural control, the paper indicates the robust controlcan improve the system stability faculty. Through analysis of several time delay compensating methods, GM(1,1) mode is applied to the time delay compensating calculating. Being free from the studying of mode, it is proved it is an easy and efficient method. At the last through an example, it come to a conclusion that it is not suitable to pursue the optimum when you decide to design a control system because it will damage the stability of control system, which can help ensure the control design index.
