Rock mass slope is the object in this paper, which located in twentieth contract mountain 22* between the south freeway of Beijing and Zhuhai . Quality, character, and stability of rock mass slope were studied and discussed.Application of structural geology and rock mechanics, all kinds of geology nature of rock mass which are controlled by joint were discussed, at the same time, the paper analyzed structural trace and it's geology influence factors.Described geology classification, destructive type, geology nature and stress-deformation relation of rock joint. Geometric description was used in analyzing geology nature of rock, and equation of joint density was reasoned . Fractal geometry was used in JRC of joint, analytic model was established, and a new equation of fractal dimension factor was reasoned . It's only get average length and height, then would be get fractal dimension factor and JRC . Depend on some old datum , the paper offered 3-dimensional viewpoint of RQD, so that make engineering classification of rocks more practical.Many initial geostress of rock were analyzed, for the more, the paper make some new tries to inversion of initial geostress, pointed that gravitate stress is the main factor of initial geostress, and tectonic stress are different toward to different ground .A new concept was offered -joint controlled rock mass . Imposed by probability theory, combined with twentieth contract mountain 22* of JingZhu, the paper discussed methods and programs of rock mass stability which controlled by joint, as a result, the slope's safety factor was too mine, it must be reinforced .The paper imitated stress of the fixed part of bolt through by FE(finite element) analysis, then, anchorage principle of prestressed anchor cables . Prestressed action and anchorage effect were studied and discussed, additionally, described design principles of anchorage engineering . Finally, an example of prestressed anchor engineering in rock mass was revealed and analyzed.
