The captive trajectory simulation technique is a special method used to investigate the store separation characteristics and trajectory from the aircraft in wind tunnel. CTS rig is the key device to implement this technique. Because electronic components of the present control system of the CTS are aged and non-reliable, it has not satisfied our new requirements. So it is urgent to develop a new control system instead of the old one.At first, the development status of the CTS at home and abroad is presented in this paper. By analyzing the construction and function of its six degree-of-freedom mechanism, a new control system including new hardware and software is set up. And in this paper, many technology difficulties and how to solve them are also discussed in detail. At last, the applications of the new control system in wind tunnel and the tendency of the captive trajectory technique are introduced in brief.
