There are a large amount of cables in the industry field. Whether or not the electric portion work well will decide the efficiency of the whole industry equipments. Unfortunately, the cable faults bring many troubles in the industry field every year.This thesis is rooted in the practice of the cable fault detection. In this thesis, the signal generator with high power output and audio frequency is developed. The mean power output is about 2. 5KW and the frequency is about 400-1KHz.Second, combined with the up-to-the-minute digital technology of CPLD, a new PWM signal generator is developed, thus the digital and intelligent zed signal generator is worked out. Also, the theory of the matching circuit is discussed in detail. This theory will be the direction to design more accurate and smarter signal generator. If the theory is expanded reasonable, it also can be used to discuss the matching problems between the other power control equipments and it' s loads.
