The change detection is one of the most important technology of image processing. Urban change detection that can provide plenty of information about land use and urban development is one of the important applications of change detection techniques. The urban planning can work efficiently in virtue of it. This paper introduces some classical approaches and some other ways such as in direct change detection adding the gray level classification, mending the M canonical transformation method.Base on two different temporal satellite images of the same area, I want to get the quantitative analyses through processing change detection, utmost avoiding error, improving the effect. At the end I hope to achieve quality analyses. In this paper I proposes an assumption whether we can use regression way to detect the shadow. The result of experiments indicates that methods proposed in the paper are efficient. The most work is followed:Based on analyzing and realizing the traditional directness change detection approaches, I found simple and efficiency change detection math model and improve the result by using other ways.Using traditional supervised and unsupervised classification approaches, combining wiping off isolated point and isolated area, I want to check out the changed areas.
